What options do I have for returning my dress?


1 - Exchange for another gown, color, or size. No additional shipping charged.


2 - Return for in-store credit that never expires! Use it whenever you’d like toward any future purchase.


3 - Return for a refund on your card minus a 15% restocking fee and return shipping costs.



How do I return/exchange my dress?


Online Orders Only - Enjoy a painless and hassle-free return process. View our Quick and Easy Returns Center.

Type in your order number and email. Select the item or items you would like to return and the reason for the return, then submit your returns request. If accepted, we will email you a return shipping label. (Please note that there are some restrictions to our return policy as explained below, so some returns may not be accepted.) Drop the package off at your local post office, and you are good to go! We will refund your card minus the restocking fee and return shipping charges after we have received the dress back in excellent condition.

A few things to note:

*Bridal gowns must be returned/postmarked within 3 days of the delivery date.

*All other dresses must be returned/postmarked within 7 days of the delivery date.

*If you have ordered internationally, your return process will be a bit different. Call us instead of processing the return via the Returns Center. You will be refunded minus a 15% restocking fee, and you will be responsible for covering the shipping charges back to our showroom, even if these charges are pricey.

*Customers who order internationally will be responsible to pay for duties and taxes when the order arrives in their country.

 

When is my dress not returnable?


On-Sale Dresses - Any dresses sold at a discount, including Buy One, Get One Free dresses, and anything label "Final Sale" are sold in “as is” condition and are not returnable. No exceptions.

Showroom Purchases or Orders - If you visited the showroom to try on dresses, even if you call in to order later or order later online, your dress won’t be returnable.

Multiple Dress Purchases or Orders - If you purchased more than 2 bridal or prom dresses, they won’t be returnable.

Custom Changes on the Order - If you’ve applied special changes to your gown such as a length change, neckline changes, custom cut, or pattern changes, your dress won’t be returnable.

Altered Dresses - Any dresses that have been altered or changed in any manner will not be returnable. Also, if dresses arrive back to us in damaged condition, for example with makeup stains, pet hair, or abnormal odors, we will deduct cleaning/repair costs from your in-store credit or credit card refund.

For you brides who have fallen in love with one of our gowns, but are nervous about ordering a dress online, fear not! We want you to feel confident when ordering a LatterDayBride gown, and we know ordering sight unseen can be a bit stressful.

 

Things to know before you order

Measurements

Please have your measurements taken by a seamstress, dress shop employee, or other professional so you can provide them when you order. We need the largest part around your bust, the smallest part of your waist (about 2 inches above the belly button), and the largest part around your hips. These measurements help us accurately determine which size will fit you best. It’s crucial to have these measurements because all dress size charts run differently, making it next to impossible to guess sizing correctly. Also, if you don’t provide measurements when you order, the return policy is not valid.

Alterations

Finishing touch alterations are very common for your gown to fit perfectly. Please keep this in mind when reviewing your gown order. Our gowns are easy to alter. Some of the alterations you could expect are taking in the shoulders, hemming the dress, taking in or letting out the side seams, and adding a bustle for the train. We provide a list of talented seamstresses who can help you with your local alterations, and we include a few out of state options. Also, depending on the gown, if you need extra fabric or lace, we can usually order it with your gown.

Acceptable return condition

We know your make-up looks lovely on you, but it's not so lovely on our dresses. Please take care of gowns that you could potentially return or exchange as you try them on to ensure proper fit. Know that any merchandise returned in poor condition will not be accepted or refunded, including but not limited to makeup stains, pet hair, odors, ect.

Casual, ready-made bridesmaid order exchanges and returns

Our casual, ready-made bridesmaid dresses, any dresses other than bridal, prom, and temple dresses. Good news: these dresses are often in stock, so exchanges are generally quick and easy. If you need a different, size, color, and style, you will need to call us within 7 business days of receiving the dress. Please note that our ready-made bridesmaid dresses can only be exchanged once, so be certain of the changes you would like to make initially.

 

Wedding gown, prom, bridesmaid and temple order exchanges

If you need a different size, call us as soon as possible or access our Returns Center, where you can also process and request exchanges. If you wish to exchange, you will need to contact us within 3 business days of receiving your dress. Many times, we are able to expedite the exchange or make suggestions to meet your needs. Exchanges do not require a restocking fee, but additional shipping will be charged.
